A A R Electronics is a communications and electronics systems distributor, providing solutions for businesses throughout Louisiana. We are a growing, locally owned, and operated company located in south Louisiana.

We are seeking a Draftsman/Estimator position. This involves sales and designs of electronic systems on construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities:

Material takeoffs from Drawings and Specifications.
Prepare project bid packages.
Communicating with customers and contractors on projects.
Coordination with production department to get projects completed.
Prepare project drawings and submittals.
Coordinate Closeout Documentation.

Qualifications:

Associates degree in Drafting and Design.
Good communication/Listening skills.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills while interfacing with all levels of staff and clients.
Technical aptitude to develop abilities and product knowledge.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to pass a background check.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
